Many political pundits saw it coming and had predicted that Val Ozigbo, who they described as a political neophyte, like a rolling stone, was certain to betray Mr. Peter Obi and swallow his vomits by joining any party that will aid his financial rehabilitation in the guise of contesting for the 2025 Anambra Governorship Election.

The speculation has been everywhere that Val Ozigbo owes Mr. Peter Obi heavily. From sources very close to both of them, there has been serious tension between the two of them. They claimed that Val is very broke and can’t repay the debt and Mr. Peter has sworn not to sponsor him again.

Mr. Peter Obi was said to have confided in his close associates that it will be impossible to defeat Soludo in the election and decided not to waste his money. Consequently, he is said to be looking for someone who has his own money to spend. According to the associates, he is considering one Bath Nwibe or John Nwosu. And Peter Obi’s body language may have boldly told Val Ozigbo that he is a political liability. Peter was quoted as saying that Val Ozigbo can’t win his Ward again.

Val Ozigbo is said to be bitter and has decided to join the APC. There he hopes to pose as enemy to Mr. Peter Obi and hope that APC will consider him for appointment. He desperately needs political appointment for his financial rehabilitation or get a party nomination as a way to raise money for his survival.

Close associates of Mr. Peter Obi laugh at the move as good riddance to a rubbish. The move will be Val Ozigbo’s third political party in four years……The announcement will be made any moment from now…
