Wasiu Ayinde Becomes Balogun of Ilupeju Ekiti

Fuji music czar, King Wasiu Ayinde Anifowose, KWAM 1, has been bestowed with the esteemed title of Balogun of Ilupeju Ekiti.

This honour was conferred upon him by His Royal Majesty, Oba Sunday Awe, The Apeju of Ilupeju Ekiti, during a grand ceremony held Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the monarch palace in Ilupeju.

This recognition is a testament to KWAM 1’s enduring impact on Nigerian culture and a nod to his roots, as his late mother, Alhaja Halimat Shadia Anifowoshe, was a Princess from Ilupeju-Ekiti.
