We Swindle Gullible Nigerians With Fake Dollars & Charms – Suspects Confess

CYRIACUS IZUEKWETwo suspected fraudsters, who swindle gullible Nigerians with fake dollars, have confessed that they do so with the aid of charms to convince the victims during operation in Ogun State.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that Police operatives from Ogun State Command arrested the suspects, Ifeanyi Ikechukwu and Chika Kosarachi, for allegedly swindling an unsuspecting victim of his hard earned money by promising to convert his Naira to Dollars.

The victim, Chidiebere, walked into their trap and he was defrauded to the tune of N148,000 which they promised to convert to dollars but which turned to be false.
The bubble burst after the duo collected the money but did not keep to their promise as Mr. Chidiebere lodged a complaint at the Sango Police Station, 
“Upon the report, the DPO of Sango Police Division, CSP Godwin Idehai, quickly led his men to their hideout where the two suspects were apprehended.

The hideout of the criminal suspects was located at Koleosho Street, Anisere, Sango-Ota, Ogun State, where the suspect were arrested. Exhibits recovered where large amount of fake Dollar notes as well as charms and chemicals.

The Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, CP Edward A. Ajogun, has ordered for massive manhunt for the arrest of the rest of the members of the syndicate.
The Police said that the suspects will be charged before the Court after the conclusion of investigations.
