We’ll Defeat Them, Tinubu Boasts At Town Hall Meeting In Calabar

Posted on December 21, 2022

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has boasted that other political parties would be beaten silly in next year’s general elections.

He boasted at a Town Hall meeting in Calabar on Tuesday, saying he is a wrestler but he does not wrestle with pigs.

He described Peoples Democratic Party as Poverty Development Party that would be beaten silly in next year’s general elections.

He charged SouthSouth states to harness the resources in the region to create employment and generate revenue.

According to him, the region has visionary leaders that could turn things around.

“What is my concern is the development of Nigeria. Moving Nigeria forward is a task that must be done.”

He said with visionary leadership the nation could be transformed, adding that his administration if elected, would embark on mechanised agriculture to conquer hunger.

Tinubu promised to replicate his achievements in Lagos nationwide if elected as president next year.

He later reconciled the feuding members of the party in the state.

Earlier, the state Governor Prof Ben Ayade had said Tinubu was “being summoned by God to save the nation.”
