What If Gov Uzodimma Didn’t Happen For Imo State?

If many of the political and real enemies of Gov. Uzodimma had realized in time that God Almighty appointed him and gave him the grace to happen for Imo State, they would not have bothered about removing him because he is untouchable and irremovable; or tried to instigate the people against the government by masterminding the attack on Owerri Custodial Centre and released over 1,844 hardened criminals in the process.

Prior to the emergence of Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma as the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in 2018, Imo was in a quagmire, state of confusion, decay, desolation, fear and despondence…name it.

There was hopelessness in the horizon despite the protruding “Akachi,” (which some observers have described as occultic but that is by the way), Imo people were downcast waiting for their redemptive Messiah but they were not going to wait indefinitely like the Jews.

Then the Almighty and all-knowing God, sent Uzodimma and he came with a promise or rather promises to establish a new Imo – where prosperity, freedom, liberty and rule of law will reign but he also declared that: “The Egyptians you see today (in power) thou shall see them no more.”

Now the question is:  “Did it happen?”  Yes, it happened and Uzodimma was a prophet then and still a prophet now.

Uzodimma, came, saw , conquered and will conquer again come November 11, 2023 irrespective of the vicious insinuations, shenanigans and endless wailing of defeated foes.

As it pleases our Lord God Almighty,  Gov Uzodimma is still up, still winning, amassing honours including national and state honours in recognition of his unassailable accomplishments.

Today, Gov. Uzodimma is a Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON), Grand Service Star of Rivers State, GSSRS, and Chairman of Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) – truly, only a man with the blessings of God can achieve such glorious honours – yet they are wailing – I mean the political ne’er-do-wells.

Frankly, no Okigwe Zone man or woman, will fight Uzodimma and succeed because the sagacious Governor of Imo State, has reconstructed Okigwe Road, that was  hitherto abandoned and unmotorable.

In the same vein, no Owerri Zone man or woman, Orlu Zone man or woman, will fight Gov. Uzodimma and succeed because he has reconstructed Orlu Road that was hitherto a  dual carriageway with menacing potholes. Gov Uzodimma, is also working on Mbaise-Obowo – Umuahia Road vigorously.

Interestingly, all the reconstructed roads started from Owerri and the implication is that Owerri Zone is most favoured; this is together with the office of the Deputy Governor, which is still in the strong Mbaike clan. It only moved from Njoku – male  to Ekomaru – female but all are Mbaike and I believe that Her Excellency, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu (Ada Owerri) will be happy because Uzodimma has happened for the womenfolk.

Whether you believe it or not, if Uzodimma did not happen for Imo State, there would not have been any Road Revolution or Urban Renewal Project or any Recovery, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction – and he has promised to start another phase of road revolution shortly.

If Uzodimma did not happen for Imo, the beautiful city of Owerri, would have continued to be swallowed by perennial flooding that could not be addressed by the notorious and  fake “Rescue Mission” of doomed memory.

Actually, it was not a rescue mission, it was rather an “Enslavement Mission.”

For a long time before the emergence of Uzodimma as Governor, it was like the dark forces conspired and decreed that there will be no more pipe-borne and clean water in Owerri as the taps remained dry but when Uzodimma happened for Imo, he broke the yoke and defeated the evil forces that today,

and after over a decade, the taps are running again –  someone should shout Alleluia!

Equally, Uzodimma has vowed to change the landlocked status of the Southeast geopolitical Zone through the Orashi – Oguta seaport and just like in the days of Noah – during the building of the Ark, (many doubted Noah, even insulted him but he remained committed to the building of the Ark and the rest is history) so it is today as many uninformed wailers and enemies of good things have condemned the seaport project and called it “political abracadabra”  but Gov Uzodimma is undeterred and like Noah , he is focused on achieving the goal of a seaport in Imo State and soon it will come to fruition.

The multiplier effect of Uzodimma happening for Imo State is also being felt by natives and residents of Old Road, Nekede – a suburb of Owerri, as the road that has been described as “gate of neglect,” is currently under reconstruction and the beat goes on according to “Whispers” – the legendary American musical group.

Another important multiplier effect of Uzodimma happening for Imo State is the Imo Social Security Benefit Number – it is genuine, novel and futuristic. It is a credible shared prosperity project that nobody can gainsay.

It is not an attempt to clone voter identification card according to naysayers. The enumerators have nothing to do with your voter card – all that one has to do is just to present it and get registered.

The benefits are immense and because Gov. Uzodimma means well and he is happening for Imo State, he does not want to hijack and appropriate the benefits. He does not want to channel it to his family members, friends and loyalists – no. He wants everyone to partake in the Social Security Benefit Scheme because it is part of his policy of Shared Prosperity.

Please do not allow anyone to deceive you or prevent you from getting registered.

Gov Uzodimma, is determined to change the past sad story of Imo into one of joy and enduring prosperity. He is poised to help the widows, the orphans, the aged in the villages, the poor, the needy – he means it and it is true.

Let nobody deceive you with empty radio talk. I bet you, those people – I mean those your notorious on-air personalities, have secretly registered but still deceiving you with lies against the government on the radio – do not be naive, stop listening to them, stop believing them.

Indeed, if Gov. Uzodimma did not happen for  Imo State, worse would have been her case and Imo would still remain emasculated by the yoke of “iberiberism,”  but  to the glory of the Almighty and all-knowing God, Senator Hope Uzodimma, happened, still happening in Imo State and will continue to happen even beyond 2028.
