Wike Should Leave Us Alone – Rt. Hon. Asita Honourable

Posted on December 18, 2022
The APC Senatorial candidate for Rivers West, Rt. Hon. Asita Honourable, has expressed disappointment in the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, for trying to intimidate them and stop them from contesting the next year’s election in the state.
While addressing newsmen in Port Harcourt, Asita stated that Wike was abusing his office and wasting the resources of Rivers State on frivolous matters.
While insisting that the APC in Rivers State will resist any attempt of intimidation, he urged the Governor to face the issues in his own party that seems to be bugging him.
He said: “The PDP in Rivers State has been struggling to intimidate us, but unfortunately, they cannot succeed. We refused to be cowed by the antics and intimidation of the Governor of Rivers State, who is a member of the PDP”.
“He should settle the internal affairs of PDP that is bugging his party, we don’t even know which party he is in now. All we are saying is he should allow democracy to thrive, he should allow us to do a free and fair election.”
