Will Anambra Electorates Vote Based On Popularity Or Track Records?

SOMTOO OJUKWU

If they are voting for track records, the idea of political party of candidates should not matter in this context, rather the individual in question.

Popularity cannot solve the problem that’s before us today and traditional political parties are only but a vehicle for organised criminals to operate and allocate our collective resources within themselves.

The Anambra electorates must go beyond popularity and vote track records.

Of the whole Candidates contesting for the November election, Dr. Godwin Maduka stands out as the most credible.

He may not be popular, but this is a man who can single handedly transform Anambra State with less fuss.

You may disagree, but track records are there to help.

This is man who led a development revolution in his native Nkerehi community.

He is not the richest man in Orumba South nor across Anambra State, but he seem the only rich man with passion for development.

Within stipulated time, he transformed his remote village to become a satellite town.

First, he believed there’s so much about name, he influenced the change of name of his community to “Umuchukwu” children of God (light) and he led the transformation from there.

As a practicing medical professional in America, he built a medical research centre in his community to attract medical tourism and lost more.

Dr. Godwin Maduka built police college and Stations, handed them over to the Government; he built schools, markets and offered scholarships to indigent students.

He repositioned his community and now wish to replicate same across Anambra State; for him, he believes that Anambra that birthed the likes of Chinua Achebe, Professor Dora Akunyili, Professor Alex Ekwueme and host other many global citizens should be a model state for development in Africa.

Juxtapose him with Charles Soludo; what are the track records of him that prepares him for leadership in 21st century?

The Road leading to Soludo village is in its worst condition, his community library is better projected as rabbit abode, what has he influenced in his community to attract development for the people, nothing.

Weak candidates always hide behind popular parties to continue the organised crime while genuine and credible aspirants come open with their records.

Anambra must chose track records over popularity this time.

I Will Vote Dr. Godwin Maduka of ACCORD PARTY.
