Woman Bites Off Neighbour’s Lip, Swallowed It Over Witchcraft

A 26-year old woman, Igwe Chinenye has been arrested and charged before a Lagos court for allegedly biting off and swallowed the lip of her female neighbour, Anita Okoro during a fight over an allegation of witchcraft.

The incident happened at 5C-Way, Community road in Ijegun area where they both reside.

P.M EXPRESS gathered that Chinenye consulted a spiritualist who told him that Anita had used her cloth to prepare some charms which had hindered her progress.

On returning home, Chinenye, a native of Mbano in Imo State, confronted Anita with the allegations.

Before she could deny the allegation, the suspect had already attacked her and in the process bitten off her lip and swallowed it.

As Anita started bleeding profusely, she was rushed to a hospital where she was treated.

The matter was reported to the Police at Isheri Oshun division who arrested and charged Chinenye to court.

At the Isolo Magistrate where she was arraigned, she pleaded not guilty .

The presiding Magistrate, Mr A.O Ogbe granted her bail in sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum of.

She was remanded in prison custody pending when she will perfect her bail.

The mater was.adjourned till 10 April 2017.
