A housewife, Hassana Adamu, has filed a suit before the Court seeking for the dissolution of her 10-year old marriage with her husband, Danjuma Alli, for allegedly denying her sex in their matrimonial home in FCT, Abuja.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the embittered woman filed the suit before the Upper Area Court, Gwagwalada, Abuja, to dissolve her marriage to the husband, Danjuma, due to lack of love and interest.
An embattled Mrs. Hassana, who resides in Kwali Area Council, Abuja, told the Court that her marriage with Danjuma over the years was blessed with three kids but she has lost interest in the marriage and no longer loves her husband because he no longer enters her room.
“I have lost interest in the marriage and no longer love my husband.
My husband has abandoned me; he does not enter my room again and he is no longer interested in me. I want the Court to dissolve the marriage because of lack of love and interest” she said.
However, the husband, Danjuma, in his response told the Court that he still loves the wife and does not want the marriage to be dissolved.
The Presiding Judge, Malam Abdullahi Abdulkarim, advised the couple to explore some means of settlement to see if the matter would be resolved amicably.
Abdulkarim asked the complainant if she was willing to accept her husband back if he did all she had wanted including  entering her room and she answered in the negative.
The matter was adjourned till 2nd May, 2023, for further hearing.
