A leading Non- Governmental Organization, Women Rescue and Firefighters Forum (WRFFF), dedicated to supporting and empowering women during rescue and firefighting, has launched a comprehensive public appeal for donations for victims during emergency responses in Lagos State.
According to WRFFF, “Our mission is to help women in rescue, emergency and firefighting to give strength, educate and advocate for them and ensure their welfare. We are set to take care of the children of women who sustain injuries and or die while on duties”.
“This initiative seeks to garner support from all stakeholders, well-meaning Nigerians, and the wider public to bolster WRFFF’s crucial mission of advancing the capabilities of women in emergency response and strengthening community resilience across Nigeria.”
