The National President of Igbo Youths Awake For Sustainale Development (IYASDI), Hon. Jude Chukwuka Onyeabor, has said that the self acclaimed Pastor and former factional Ohanaeze president, Dr Femi Ferguson, should stop denying because he actually collected N7m for litigation expenses as alleged by the president of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos, Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Hon. Onyeabor stated this on the heels of Dr Ferguson’s denial that he did not collect any money from Chief Aguene in an interview and that he will file a suit before the Court to clear his name. But he declined to comment on what transpired before he received the Long Service Merits Award given to him by Aguene before the consent judgment.
Hon. Onyeabor explained that not only did he collected the money inside Aguene’s office at Ohanaeze Secretariat, which he witnessed, he also received Long Service Merits Award and was appointed as Vice Chairman of Council of Elders by Chief Aguene and sang praises of Aguene as a messiah of Ndigbo in Lagos State.
He decried the double standard attitude of Dr Ferguson over the years and described him as a fake human being.
He said, “Don’t mind Femi Ferguson and his attitudes. Femi after all is a Yoruba name and it’s difficult to identify him as Igbo. He exhibits sycophancy as part of his lifestyle. We are going to use him as an example to teach others lesson. He is a complete fake human being. He is looking for a way to collect money after he has collected N7million, which I witnessed”.
Chief Chimereze Thompson Ohia, the Chief of Staff to Lagos Ohanaeze Ndigbo President, Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, also confirmed Hon. Onyeabor’s claims of Dr Ferguson’s double standard. He as well confirmed Aguene’s claims of giving him money for litigations.
“Chief Solomon, the President of Ohanaeze Lagos State, is unbeatable when it comes to undisputed and accurate evidence. Everybody knows that he is correct in what he said about Bishop Fegurson and his two ways of life” Ohia stated.
Dr Ferguson received another knock from the former president of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State and elder statesman,  Chief Oliver Akubueze, who posited that he portrays double standard as alleged by Chief Ohia and Hon. Onyeabor.
He stated: “Dr. Ferguson, I want to say this in the open now since it has not reached one week when I said it in secret but you people did not listen to me. The simple logic and truth about this consent judgement is what I told you people the other day that Chief Solomon Aguene is not to be blamed because you, the old Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State leaders, sold the idea to him and educated him on what to do and how to go about it. He yielded and sponsored it by pouring in money to achieve the goal. What Solomon is doing now is to defend the money he pumped into the sponsorship of the consent judgement because no one likes to waste money”.
“You told me that you were the number three person among the starters of the process of the consent judgement ie after Ozuome and the dead man from Mainland; and that they did not inform you when they removed your name along the line. All these narratives showed how close and committed you were in the whole process” Akubueze stated.
It was not clear how Dr Femi Ferguson will come out of this alleged N7m scandal as more witnesses have lined up to give more information including the video recording of what transpired.
But what is certain is that he had an agreement or understanding with Chief Solomon Aguene, which made him not to oppose the Court consent judgment until recently. But Aguene stated that it was the litigation expenses he paid him that silenced him.
