2 Students Detained Inside School Office Over Fees

The top management of a popular Secondary school has landed in trouble after two of its students were reportedly locked and detained inside one of the classrooms in the school compound in Lagos.
P.M.EXPRESS learnt that the offence of the victims of the same parents between ages 14 and 15 was that they came to school without their parents completing their school fees and so they were locked inside office till the end of school hours.
The incident happened at the Citizen Comprehensive College, in Epe, Lagos where the victims attended school before the incident happened.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that one of the management staff of the school, Mrs. Moradeun Smith has been arrested and charged before a Lagos court for their conduct on the two victims- a boy and girl. The other suspects were said to be at large and the police were hunting for them for the alleged conspiracy.
The police alleged that the suspects were detained in the school office against their will and deprived their liberty before they were later released. It was gathered that after they were released, they dumped them on the highway thereby endangering their lives.
However, when the victims eventually got home, told their parents what happened and their parents did not take it lightly. The parents reported the incident to the police and Mrs. Smith was arrested.
Mrs. Smith was charged before Ikeja Magistrates court for the alleged offence.
She pleaded not guilty.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. B.O. Osunsanmi granted her bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum.
She was remanded in prison custody pending when she will perfect her bail condition.
