A 33-year old man, Daisi Awodeyi, has landed in serious trouble after he allegedly engaged a 13-year old girl in sex romp after he reportedly got her confused by fondling her breasts.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Ndike Street in Obawole area of Lagos where they reside.

It was gathered that the suspect, Awodeyi, allegedly lured the victim into his apartment, used words of mouth to confuse her before grabbing her breasts which made her more confused and he defiled her.
The victim later reportedly regained her senses, discovered that she had been defiled and reported what happened to her parents.
The matter was reported to the Police in the area and Awodeyi was arrested. He was later transferred to the Gender Section of the Police Command for investigation.

At the Gender Section, P.M.EXPRESS gathered that Awodeyi insisted that he did not rape her because he did it with her consent but the victim objected. She then revealed what happened and claimed that she was raped.
However, the Police found the suspect, Awodeyi, culpable because of the age of the victim. He was later charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence.
The Court did not take his plea after the prosecutor, Supol Ezekiel Ayorinde, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. B.O. Osunsanmi, ordered the defendant to be remanded in prison custody without an option of bail.
The Court also directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP for advice. The matter may be transferred to the High Court if the DPP finds Awodeyi culpable and recommends that he should be tried for the alleged offence. The matter has been adjourned till 15th August, 2019.
