A trader, one Kayode Oladipupo, has been arrested for engaging a 17-year old girl in rounds of sex inside a market in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Oke-odo Market in Lagos.

What informed the decision for engaging the victim in a romp inside the market and why the victim did not raise any alarm before they were caught was not known.

It was gathered that the man, Oladipupo, lured the victim to a corner inside the market, fondled her breasts and she was not able to resist the moves. He then took advantage of that and engaged her in the romp from behind.

However, before they would finish, they were caught by the market management and handed over to the police.
The matter was transferred to the Gender Section of the Police Command for investigation where the victim claimed that Oladipupo confused and engaged her in the romp.
The police found the man culpable and charged Oladipupo before the Ogba Magistrates Court for defilement.
He pleaded not guilty.

The prosecutor, Inspector Clifford Ogu, asked the court to use its discretion on the issue of bail.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. T.Akanbi, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N250,000 with two sureties in like sum.
Oladipupo was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 21st January, 2019.
