MIKE TYSON DEAD?
“Iron” Mike Tyson dead of heart attack is a celebrity death hoax. There is no truth to a viral social media post that the boxing legend had experienced a heart attack and subsequently died.
Tyson is a former heavyweight boxing champion who’s served jail time and appeared in several films. He subsequently earned further notoriety by biting Evander Holyfield’s ear during a rematch in 1997. Tyson has gone on to appear in several films, including a documentary and Broadway show on his life.
Now, where did the celebrity death hoax originate? Users on Twitter and Facebook began sharing a post alleging that Tyson had died as a result of a heart attack.
However, there is no truth in it at all. For one thing, there has been no legitimate news coverage of Tyson’s death. No reports from ESPN or any other major sports news site. Additionally, the “story” was poorly written with many grammatical errors suggesting someone’s quick attempt at trying to spread a celebrity death hoax without any effort into speaking correctly.
You can also see that Tyson has been active on his Twitter account. Just recently, he shared a video of his discussion on a radio show with the statement, “@BronzeBomber trash talk is cool. Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth. There is a Tyson that you can fight though.”
