14-Year Old NLO Sensation, Raheem Salaudeen Eyes Golden Eaglets
Ever since Raheem Salaudeen made his debut in the Nationwide League One (NLO) last year, the 14-year old wonder kid has been growing in leaps and bounds as he is development is going according to plan.
He is one of the shining lights of the Buruj Football Club in this season NLO league as the number 10 is always a delight to watch on the pitch.
Lots of plaudits have been coming his way both from the fans, teammates and opponents’ commending his bravery as well as his great technical understanding of the game while displaying lots of football intelligence way ahead of his tender age.
The sensational teenager shares his foreseeable future with our reporter after his team’s match on Wednesday in the NLO.
According to him, one of his biggest dreams is to play for the Super Eagles as he sets his eyes on starting the journey with the Golden Eaglets.
“I would like to represent Nigeria one day” said Raheem when quizzed about his ambition.
“My time in the U15 Future Eagles camp was a big motivation to work more and improve my game so that I can wear the Super Eagles jersey representing Nigeria one day.”
“I won’t mind starring for the Golden Eaglets. An invitation to the team will be embraced with both hands because it’s an honour to play for my country. If the opportunity comes, I will make all the best of it” said Raheem Salaudeen.
