2 Ladies Docked For Engaging In Public Fight Over Lover

Police operatives from Elele Division have arrested two ladies, Oritoke Jamiu, 26 and  Olamide Akintomide, 22, for allegedly engaging in public fight over a lover in Lagos.


P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Olurinde Street in Orile area of Lagos where they reside.


The fight between the two ladies became messy after Oritoke used knife to stab Olamide’s sister, Bola. She was said to have bled profusely and was rushed to a hospital for treatment.


The matter was then reported to the Police and both of them were arrested for affray by fighting publicly shamelessly.Police sources said when they were asked what was the real cause of the fight, it was discovered that it was about an unidentified lover.


The two ladies were charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence. They pleaded not guilty while the Prosecutor, Supol Ezekiel Ayorinde did not object to their being granted bail.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. B.O.Osunsanmi, granted them bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum. However, they were remanded in prison custody pending when they will perfect their bail conditions.The matter was adjourned pending when the Court will start proper sitting over Covid-19 lockdown.
