2019 National Youth Games Gets Underway In Ilorin (PHOTOS

The 2019 edition of the National Youth Games officially kicked off in Ilorin, capital city of Kwara State, north central Nigeria on Tuesday.

Though some sporting activities had commenced early in the morning with associations’ technical meetings, the opening ceremony was held in the afternoon inside the Maracana Stadium of the University of Ilorin, the host of the Games.

Interestingly, the opening ceremony was aesthetic and glamorous with march past by athletes of the participating states which included the state of ‘Centre of Excellence’, Lagos.
