2027: Former Ogun Legislators Endorse Tinubu’s Reelection & Senator Adeola Yayi For Governor

The Ogun State Caucus of the National Forum of Former Legislators NFFL, today, 24th January, 2026, converged at NAF Conference Centre, Kado, FCT, Abuja, and passed resolutions towards 2027.
The resolutions passed by the Forum was signed by Hon Abiodun Abudu-Balogun, Ogun State Coordinator, National Forum of Former Legislators NFFL. It stated thus:
“1 .Having closely monitored the dexterity that His Excellency, the President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,GCFR, has brought to bear on the multi-faceted national challenges confronting our nation, deserve our commendation and re-affirmation of confidence in his capabilities.
To this end, the Forum unequivocally acknowledges the great economic strides and concrete results as well as the increasing exploration of results yielding tactics in tackling insecurity by the current administration under his watch, therefore, the Ogun Caucus of the Forum declares its unalloyed support for the re-election of Mr. President in 2027.”
2. That in the same vein, members of the Forum upon consistent study and persistent follow-up on the numerous socio-political benefits brought to our people in all sections of the Gateway State by the Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District and Chairman Senate Committee on Appropriations, Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, a. k. a Yayi, coupled with his rich political antecedents, vast legislative experience, and worthy trajectory of top welfarism, equally deserve encouragement.”
3. Consequently, the Ogun State caucus of the National Forum of Former Legislators hereby declare absolute support for and commitment to the governorship aspiration of the current Ogun West Senator and do hereby call on him to publicly declare his governorship ambition to enable us and other well wishers begin a massive mobilisation drive for him.”
4. That the Forum salutes our amiable Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON, as well as our leader, Aremo Olusegun Osoba CON, for their relentless efforts at steering the political course and progressives ideals of Ogun State.”
