2027: Governor Oyebanji Embraces SAMPAM-LED South-West Arewa Renewed Hope For PBAT Drive

Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji of Ekiti State has once again displayed statesmanship, inclusiveness, and political maturity by warmly receiving the leadership of the South-West Arewa Community Renewed Hope Agenda for Asiwaju 2027. 

 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the historic engagement took place at the Ekiti State Liaison Office in Ikeja, Lagos, in an atmosphere of respect, unity, and shared commitment to national cohesion and progressive governance.

 

The delegation, led by the Director-General, Alhaji Shehu Usman Jibrin ‘Sampam’, arrived in an impressive, well-coordinated entourage of national executives, state coordinators, women leaders, and key stakeholders. Their presence radiated discipline, cultural pride, and organisational strength, further underscoring the expanding influence of the Arewa community across the South-West geopolitical zone.

In his remarks, Governor Oyebanji expressed deep admiration for the group’s structured mobilisation, grassroots engagement, and peaceful coexistence with host communities. He described the South-West Arewa Community as a vital bridge between northern and southwestern residents, fostering mutual understanding and collective progress.

 

The Governor unequivocally assured the group of his total support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR. He emphasised that party unity, disciplined mobilisation, and strategic collaboration remain essential for national stability, democratic consolidation, and sustainable development.

He particularly applauded the leadership of Alhaji Shehu Usman ‘Sampam,’ acknowledging his exceptional capacity to mobilise, organise, and inspire thousands of Arewa residents across multiple states. Governor Oyebanji noted that Sampam’s vision and consistency have significantly strengthened trust and synergy within progressive political structures.

Beyond the Director-General, the Governor also commended the National Executive Council of the South-West Arewa Community Renewed Hope Agenda and the various state coordinators. He praised their teamwork, dedication, and commitment to peaceful civic participation, structured community engagement, and political responsibility.

 

The meeting concluded on a high note of solidarity, optimism, and renewed partnership. In a further demonstration of goodwill, Governor Oyebanji made enormous donations and provided substantial logistical support to ease the group’s interstate movement and coordination across the South-West, thereby strengthening their operational capacity.

 

With this engagement, the South-West Arewa Community Renewed Hope Agenda for Asiwaju 2027 received another major boost through the strong support and clear endorsement of the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, further cementing the group’s credibility, relevance, and growing acceptance within the progressive political landscape.
