2027: Ogun Transport Unions Endorse President Tinubu & Senator Yayi

All the 9 Transport unions in Ogun State have jointly endorsed the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for second term and Senator Solomon Adeola, the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship flagbearer for election as governor in the 2027 elections.
The unions under the aegis of Ogun State Transport Unions Alliance for Yayi comprising National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), the Amalgamated Commercial Tricycle & Motorcycle Owners Repairers and Riders Association of Nigeria, ACOMORAN, Tricycles Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria, TORAN, Three Wheeler Owners & Riders Association, TWORA, Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria, RTEAN, Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria AMORAN, Parks and Management Services Limited  PAM, ROTO and ROMO  also endorsed all the candidates of APC at state and federal levels with a promise to deliver massive votes for the candidates during the forthcoming election.
In his welcome address at the occasion that took place at Ake Palace Pavilion, Abeokuta, Alhaji Samsudeen Apelogun, the National President of ACOMORAN who is an Ogun State indigenes said they are endorsing all APC candidates from the President to the state assembly members as the president and Governor Dapo Abiodun have performed excellently well under the Renew Hope Agenda of APC stressing that the choice of Senator Adeola for governor is the right choice as he has demonstrated ability to govern with many projects even before being elected.
“Our governor has done excellently well for the transport sector with the construction of over 1000 roads and the completion of Gateway Cargo Airport that is operational. Senator Adeola has also done over 200 internal roads to complement those of the state government. Our endorsement is based on these achievements” he stated.
Presenting a large plaque of endorsement to the Senator and his deputy Alhaja Kudirat Abiodun Adegunwa-Balogun, Comrade Olamilekan Akanbi, the chairman of PAM state that the endorsement of the Senator was based on his demonstrated competence and capacity to govern Ogun State and the promise of continuity of the good work of Prince Abiodun in the incoming administration.
Senator Adeola appreciated the transport unions for their unprecedented endorsement of his candidacy and all APC candidates stressing that the union plays a critical role in the economic growth of the state in their work.
He promised not to take their support and endorsement for granted, adding that the transport sector is a major part of his 9-Point ITESIWAJU Agenda for Ogun State with critical infrastructures to be built for the sector’s growth.
The governor of the state, Prince Abiodun also commended the transport unions for maintaining the peace from their hitherto rancorous and violent disposition to a united and well-organized alliance playing a critical role in the affairs of the state adding that with their support and votes Ogun State will deliver 2 million votes for the President during the presidential election.
He said he has constructed over 1000 roads across the state with more still under construction stressing that the transportation system in the state will continue to be developed for efficiency for the benefit of the people.
The endorsement ceremony by the deputy governor of the state, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, Senator Lekan Mustapha, the Director General of APC Campaign Council in Ogun State, High Chief Bode Mustapha, the Osi of Egbaland, Rt. Hon Titi Oseni Shodunke, former speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Bukola Olopade, the Director General of National Sports Commission, Hon Taiwo Oludotun, Ogun State Commissioner for Forestry as well as all APC candidates for federal and state legislature.
