An Abia youth group, 50 Below 50, has called on Dr. Uche Ogah to contest next year’s governorship election in the state, saying that he has the capacity to move the state forward.
According to the group whose members were drawn from the 17 local government areas of the state, the call was anchored on the need to rescue Abia from the “clutches of darkness.”
In a communiqué signed by the secretary of the group, Ikemefuna Dominic, the group said,
“Abia youths today rose from its meeting in Umuahia, demanding and passionately calling on Dr. Uche Ogah to as a matter of urgency and necessity, contest for Abia state governoship election in 2019. Abia State must be rescued from the clutches of darkness which the present administration represents”
