6 Ladies Arrested At Romeo & Juliet Hotel While Soliciting For Clients At Night

Six ladies, Naomi Mesoma,29, Happiness Chidiebere,33, Candy Odeh,29, Gloria Ogbonna,28,Sandra Chidima,29 and Promise Okwuludo,25, have landed in trouble over suspicion of soliciting for clients at Romeo & Juliet Hotel in Ejigbo, Lagos. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Police operatives from Ejigbo Division raided the premises of the hotel at NNPC area and arrested the suspects for their alleged conduct on 15th May, 2026.
They were subsequently charged before the Ejigbo Magistrates Court for  conduct likely to cause breach of public peace and constituting nuisance on the road without any reasonable excuse.
The charge read:
“That you, Naomi Mesoma ‘f, Happiness Chidiebere ‘f, Candy Odeh ‘f, Gloria Ogbonna ‘f, Sandra Chidima ‘P, Promise Okwuludo ‘f, on the 15th of May, 2026,
at about 0200hrs, at Romeo and Juliette Hotel, NNPC, Ejigbo, Lagos State, in the Lagos Magisterial District, did conduct yourselves in a manner likely to cause breach of public peace by constituting nuisance on the road without any reasonable excuse and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 168(d) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria 2015.”
However, the defendants pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Inspector Simeon Njue, then asked the Court to give a date for hearing since they pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that they actually committed the alleged offence.
The Presiding Magistrate, F.R Ogunkoyede, granted them bail in the sum of N100,000 with one surety in like sum, who must show evidence of means of livelihood and tax payment while addresses will be verified by the Court.
The matter was adjourned till 16th June, 2026 for mention while the defendants were remanded in custody at the correctional center at Kirikiri town, Lagos Lagos, pending when they will perfect their bail conditions.
