Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State Mourns Death Of Davido’s Son, Ifeanyi Adeleke

Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State led by the amiable President,  Chief Solomon Aguene, has sent condolences and tributes over the tragic loss of Davido’s son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, who was confirmed dead after drowning in his father’s home pool in Lagos.
P.M.EXPRESS reports as stated by Chief Aguene at the Ohanaeze Secretariat in Surulere, Lagos. He said that the death of Ifeanyi, who recently marked his third birthday on 20th October, 2022, came as a rude shock to him and members of  Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State including many.
Aguene expressed his shock over the loss and extended prayers to the singer and his entire family during this difficult phase of their life.
He described the incident as very sad saying that it is painful losing a child and a deep one, which no parent deserves to go through.
“This is sad and so hard. No parent deserves to go through the pain of losing a child. My condolences to Davido, Chioma and the entire Adeleke family. May God give you the strength to pull through this trying period.”
Chief Aguene, who described Davido as his friend, stated that initially he thought it was social media falsehood until he personally confirmed it.
“I had prayed for it to be a lie. I was upset, pained and confused. Nobody deserves to feel this kind of pain.” Aguene stated.
