Rt Hon Bede Eke Describes Gov. Uzodimma’s Re-election As Priority For Ngor Okpala

It was another gathering of political who-is-who in Ngor Okpala, as the member representing Aboh Mbaise/ Ngor Okpala Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Bede Uchenna Eke, played host to leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Ngor Okpala chapter.
Recently, the Nguru Umuaro born astute parliamentarian had defected from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with other members of the National Assembly and their numerous supporters and followers.
Addressing a cross session of party leaders and stakeholders, including LGA and ward officers of the party at his Umuaga Nguru country home, Eke described Imo Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, as an uncommon performer, who in spite of numerous challenges, including political contrived insecurity, had worked himself into the hearts of Imolites through his infrastructural strides dotting the entire landscape of the state.
He assured of their commitment to add value to the party, while maintaining that the re-election of Governor Uzodimma is of topmost priority to the people Ngor Okpala.
According to him “We have come to add value to the party. We will work with you people, to ensure a stress free victory of our governor on November 11, 2023. We are here because, we have seen and confirmed that Uzodimma means well for the people. We were attracted by his quality of projects”.
Speaking further, he said “As I speak to you today, I have interacted with every well meaning Ngor Okpala person, the re-election of the governor is a priority for us”
Collaborating the position of the host, Hon. Kizito Onuoha, former Zonal Secretary of PDP, thanked the leadership of the party, for the warm reception accorded to them collectively and individually, and particularly in their respective wards since their entrance into the progressives family.
In their separate speeches, the LGA Party Chairman, Engr. Jude Ukaegbu, the Sole Administrator, Hon. Theo Ihediuba, the Director General, Imo State Orientation Agency, Dr. Ethelbert Okere; the honourable member-elect, Hon. Obinna Egu, Ph.D, the state publicity secretary ecretary, APC, Cajetan Duke, and the LGA Campaign Council chairman, Okenze S.I. Obinna, hailed Rt. Hon. Eke and his supporters for their bold and courageous decision to join the party and contribute for the forthcoming victory of the governor.
They assured them of level playing ground and inclusive political platform for all and sundry in line with the directives of the governor.
