American & Irish Citizens Join Buruj Sports Academy

Buruj Sports Academy, a leading football academy in Lagos, Nigeria, is pleased to announce the inclusion of two foreign players to their roster.
Uche David Chinonso, born in the United States of America to Nigerian parents, a 13-year old Nigerian-American striker, starting SS1 at the academy and Oyon Osemudiame, born in Ireland to Nigerian parents, an 18-year old Nigerian-Irish, who has completed his secondary school, can play both as a defensive midfielder and center-back.

Both players are currently studying football at Buruj Sports Academy, where they continue to fine-tune their skills and enhance their playing capabilities.
The Buruj Sports Academy provides a holistic approach to its students’ education, combining football training with academic studies. This ensures that young players not only develop their skills on the pitch but also receive a well-rounded education with its play and study initiative from JSS1- SS3.
Commenting on their latest additions, the academy’s CEO, Dr. Salaudeen Waheed stated: “We are delighted to have Uche and Oyon join our football academy. The academy’s purpose-built hostel offers a supportive environment for players like Uche David Chinonso and Oyon Osemudiame to concentrate on their growth as athletes”.
