Ex-Militant, General Omotuwa Job Seeks Stakeholders Support For Oyetola To Succeed

An ex-militant, General Omotuwa Job, has called on stakeholders in the maritime sector to support the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola, so as to record considerable success in the newly created Ministry.

 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that General Job, who established Steve Latcon Security Services, which is in charge of waterways security, made this known in Abuja.

 

“The Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy is a new agency, which is expected to work with the Nigerian Port Authority, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, the Nigerian Shippers Council, among others.”

 

According to him, the support of stakeholders and safety of the waterways have become paramount, even as he expressed the unalloyed support for the Ministry.

 

General Omotuwa Job expressed satisfaction on the appointment of Mr. Oyetola as the pioneer Minister in the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy.

 

“With Oyetola’ s rich pedigree in public service, governance and unflinching commitment to excellence, we are confident that he will reposition the Nigeria’s maritime sector for optimal performance.”

“The Ministry has come on stream to harness the great economic fortune and potential in the sector, which is capable of giving a humongous revenue inflow and achieving the Federal Government’s economic diversification agenda and jobs creation for the teeming Nigerian youths” General Job said.

 

“Steve Latcon Security Services is ready to collaborate with the Ministry in securing the waterways for all and sundry.”

 

“We thank President Bola Tinubu for acceding to the request of the operators in the maritime sector and appointing Oyetola as the Minister.”
