Idemili South: Hon Amaka Obi Charges Tricycle Riders & Bus Drivers To Obey Traffic Rules

The Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State, Hon Amaka OBI (Iyom Idemili), has charged commercial drivers to always comply with traffic rules and regulations and make use of bus stops cum terminals in order to ensure safety on roads.
Hon Amaka gave the charge while addressing the executives of commercial bus and keke drivers in the council area.
The Council Boss noted that over time motorists find it difficult to access the Nnobi-Awka-Etiti-Ekwuobia and Nnewi – Nnobi – Agulu Road due to traffic congestion and double parking caused by the commercial buses and keke operators.
She stressed the need for them to always make use of the various designated bus stops and obey traffic rules to ensure smooth flow of human and vehicular movement.
Some of the commercial bus drivers and commuters commended the efforts of the Local Government chairman and promised to make use of bus stops and to be law abiding citizens.
