APC UK Congratulates Its Deputy Chairman On Appointment As ECN DG/CEO

The All Progressives Congress United Kingdom (APC UK) chapter has expressed joy over the appointment of its Deputy Chairman, Dr Mustapha Abdullahi as the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN), describing it as one of the best appointment toward achieving the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The appointment of Dr Mustapha was announced yesterday by the Special Adviser to the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on media and publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale.
APC UK said the appointment of Dr Mustapha is an attestation of the resolve of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to ensure that the best hands are on deck to ensure that Nigerians enjoy the best of governance by looking into Diaspora in participating in the running of the country.
In the congratulatory message released by the spokesperson of the party, Mr. Jacob Ogunseye, the chairman of the party in the UK, J K Adebola applauded President Tinubu for the choice of his deputy as the Director General of the Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN).
“President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Abdullahi Mustapha to serve as the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN).
“Dr. Abdullahi Mustapha has served for over a decade in the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) with significant experience in the Energy and Space Technology sectors. Dr. Mustapha most recently obtained his Doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Renewable Energy, followed by a Post-Doctoral Fellowship as a Research Associate in the School of Engineering at the prestigious University of Manchester.
“President Tinubu expects the new ECN Chief Executive to make a positive impact on his administration’s intensive push to diversify the nation’s energy sources in a synergized fashion across the government toward the ultimate aim of industrializing every part of the country with every citizen emancipated from the shackles of energy poverty”.
