Indian Brahma Kumaris Honours Eze Chika Nwokedi With Peace Ambassador Award

An Indian organization, Brahma Kumaris International, has conferred the Chairman of Council of Ndieze, Lagos State,  Eze Chika Nwokedi, with their “Supreme Soul” title, Ambassadors of Peace award, for his outstanding contributions to humanity in Lagos State. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the award was presented by the group on Tuesday 14th November, 2023, at Eze Nwokedi’s Obi  Chukwu palace in Ijegun, Lagos and was attended by some members of the Palace, friends and wellwishers.
Equally in attendance were some members of Brahma Kumaris organization, which comprised of both aged and young dedicated Indians, who have come together to serve a common purpose to humanity by preaching purity and meditation.
The Brahma Kumaris organisation (Rayoga Meditation Centre) has toured countries in Africa, Europe, UK and America to preach meditation. The spokesperson for the group, Sister Gauthami, stated that the visit for the presentation of the award was recommended by Pastor Emeka Ifediora and female Archbishop Cynthia Adoma, who had worked in collaboration with the group to nominate influential persons deserving of humanitarian honours who nominated, Eze Chika Nwokedi.
Sister Gauthami explained that 13 Indians had travelled from UK and India to Nigeria to attend the award presentation ceremony on Eze Chika Nwokedi as well as other programmes lined up to be held in Nigeria.
Speaking at the event, Pastor Prof. Emeka Ifediora, stated that the world human rights and peace commission had presented Eze Chika Nwokedi with the awards for his wisdom in conflict resolution as witnessed in one of the many cases brought to his palace as well as his fight to sustain people’s fundamental human rights.
He explained that some significant issues, which had been resolved by his palace had necessitated his recommendation to the Indian group to award Eze Chika with “Ambassador For Peace.
The Brahma Kumaris is an educational organisation established 89 years ago in India. It is said to be a spiritual university, where people come from all countries to North india, the headquarters, to study the matters of mind in order to have a connection with God and not just do things in the name of God as Kumaris means purity.
