The Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili South Local Government Area, Anambra State, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi (Iyom Ife-Abata), has urged residents of Idemili South to allow charity to be an action and not just an Ideal.
She made this statement yesterday during the celebration of Boxing Day, noting that *Boxing Day* has nothing to do with gloves and a ring rather it is all about basking in the festivities of the holiday season, sharing and caring for the ones we love.
She added that it helps in understanding the benefits of sharing, caring, spreading joy and happiness to the homes of others and enjoy with everyone, stating that Boxing Day creates a sense of understanding and communication.
She urged Idemili South residents to use this period to spread love by putting smiles on the faces of the people especially the downtrodden.
