Oyo College Of Nursing Begins Sale Of Basic Midwifery Form

The Oyo State College of Nursing and Midwifery has commenced the sale of Basic Midwifery Forms to prospective students aspiring to gain admission into the esteemed institution.

This was made known in a statement released by the Provost of the College, Dr. Gbonjubola Owolabi, on Tuesday in Ibadan.

The Provost emphasized that the form is meant for students who are keen on advancing their career in Nursing.

She stated that the Basic Midwifery is a three year program which would commence from March 2024 after which candidates would be presented to both the College and the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) for final qualifying Examinations.

This, she added will qualify them as Midwives and also make them eligible for registration with NMCN as Registered Midwife (RM).

Dr. Owolabi reiterated that it is an opportunity for individuals who are passionate about nursing to take a significant step towards realizing their career aspirations.

The Provost charged interested candidates to follow the process of online application through the College website www.oysconme.edu.ng or contact Office of the Registrar or ICT Centre of the College for further enquiry.

Dr. Owolabi noted that, payment should not be made through any Individual/Agent or Personal Bank account asides the link (www.oysconme.edu.ng) through which application form fee is expected to be made.
