NDCV Commends President Tinubu, Urges Pipeline Protection In Ondo

The Niger Delta Coastline Vanguard has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on a state-private visit to Owo, Ondo State.
Mr. President visited the families of the late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, Olowo of Owo Kingdom, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye to commiserate with the Olowo-in-Council.
The leader of the Niger Delta Coastline Vanguard, NDCV, Akogun Omotuwa Job, made commendations on Thursday during the council meeting in Ilaje, Akure.
According to him, “I thank Mr. President for the visit, and I assure him of the cooperation of the Niger Delta Coastline Vanguard, people of Ondo State”.
Akogun Omotuwa Job stated, “The ex-militants of Ilaje, in the South West Region, are ready to work with the security agencies in order to put an end to pipeline vandalism in the region. The NDCV is made up of peace-loving people and want to be in charge of our waterways and oil pipeline security as the longest coastline in the whole Niger Delta region”.
“We urge the Federal Government to allow indigenous members of the community to guide the pipeline in their region. The llaje should take care of the waterways from Ilaje to Ogun and Lagos State to avoid crisis.”
While appealing to Nigerians to be more patient with the Tinubu administration on the economic reform and hardship experienced across the country,, he said that steps are being taken to address the economic hardship in the country.
The President also visited Pa Fasoranti, Leader, Afenifere Group, and had discussion on matters of high importance relating to the growth and development of the country,.
He added that NDCV will partner with the security agencies in the protection of pipelines and surveillance as the economy may not grow without an increase in oil production. He noted
