The road to the grand finale of The King of the Ring showdown taking place in Saudi Arabia on May 25 is set to get tougher for four superstars this Friday on Smackdown as they are set to battle for a place in the semi-final of the tournament.

Randy Orton will square up against Carmelo Hayes, while LA Knight will have to prove his mettle against Tama Tonga. Tune in WWE Network at 1am (ch 68) to watch the fights and other interesting showdowns set to unfold on Friday Night Smackdown.

Randy overpowered AJ Styles last Friday to book his place in this week’s bout card, while Carmelo’s sleeky moves earned him victory over the vicious Baron Corbin. Both superstars will now have to square up in the ring to prove their determination to compete in the semi-finals of the tournament.

LA Knight got the upperhand over Santos Escobar when they duelled, while Tama Tonga emerged victorious when he went face-to-face with Angelo Dawkins. LA Knight and Tama Tonga will need to bring their best game to play at Smackdown as they jostle for a coveted place in the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes and United States Champion, Logan Paul are expected to engage in another fierce war-of-words at Friday Night Smackdown. The champions signed the contract for their fight at King and Queen of the Ring showdown last Friday.

Similarly, the Queen of the Ring tournament will continue on Friday. After defeating Naomi last week, Nia Jax will have to face-off with Jade Cargill who secured a place in the quarter-final following her victory over Piper Niven.

Tiffany Stratton will continue her bid to compete at the main showdown in Saudi Arabia by taking on Tag Team Champion, Bianca Belair. Tiffany advanced to this round after defeating Michin, while Bianca overpowered Candice LeRae.
