The office of the Honourable Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, said that its attention has been drawn to the activities of fraudsters impersonating as the lawmaker.
According to Eromosele Ebhomele,
Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly,
the criminal element using the number +2347071411808, calls unsuspecting Nigerians informing them of a non-existent meeting and giving out codes.
“We have earlier sent out messages warning Nigerians against falling prey.
This message is to further reiterate the Speaker’s stand against criminal-minds who aim at swindling innocent people.”
“Please, join in reporting this number to the appropriate authorities” the Speaker’s office urged the general public.
