The Facebook account of ‎the Executive Chairman, Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, OYOSUBEB, Dr. Nureni Adeniran, has been hacked.

The hackers, according to a statement by the Board on Tuesday, have been using the account to perpetrate evil acts on unsuspecting facebook friends.

“It has come to the notice of OYOSUBEB that some unscrupulous persons have hacked into the Facebook account of our Chairman, Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, and are now using the channel to defraud individuals.

“This clearly violates Dr. Adeniran’s privacy and must be stopped henceforth as the laws of the land frown at it,” said the Board.

The Board further disclosed that Dr. Adeniran did not at any time give contracts of laptops’ purchase with anyone, warning the perpetrators of “this unscrupulous act to desist from it”.

“We hereby call on the general public to disregard any chats from the hackers through his platform.”

The statement added that the public should disregard any message from the said account, as the Chairman will not convey official information through private chats on any social media platform.
