Senator John Owan Enoh Meets with Madam Hadiza Bala Usman On Advancement Of Sports Development

Earlier today, Senator John Owan Enoh, Honorable Minister of Sports Development, met with Madam Hadiza Bala Usman, Special Adviser to the President on Policy and Coordination, and Head of the CDCU, in her office.

 

The meeting focused on the need to advance sports development in Nigeria, particularly at the grassroots level, in line with President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

 

“We are committed to harnessing the potential of sports to promote youth development, healthy living, and national unity” Senator John Owan Enoh said.

“Our discussions today centered on strategies to strengthen grassroots sports development and create opportunities for young Nigerians to excel in various sports.”

 

Madam Hadiza Bala Usman reiterated the administration’s support for sports development, stating, “We are dedicated to creating an enabling environment for sports to thrive in Nigeria, and we believe that grassroots development is key to achieving this goal”.

 

The meeting marks a significant step forward in the implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda for sports development in Nigeria.
