Ojodu LCDA Chairman Flags Off Construction Of Irebawa & Urges Residents Support
Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, the Executive Chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area, Lagos State, has officially inaugurated the construction of Irebawa Street, along with its adjoining areas, marking a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure in the Okeira community. This initiative is designed to enhance vehicular movement and overall accessibility.
Speaking at a stakeholders’ engagement session, Hon. Odunmbaku underscored that the project stems from his administration’s “community-oriented budget.” He expressed heartfelt appreciation to Hon. James Abiodun Faleke and Hon. Adedamola Kasunmu for their impactful constituency projects, which have greatly contributed to the development of Ojodu LCDA.
Hon. Odunmbaku commended the Irebawa community for their steadfast support and called on them to cooperate with the contractors to ensure the project’s smooth execution. He assured the residents that the construction would be completed in six months, adhere to global standards, featuring advanced drainage systems and street lighting to enhance safety and longevity.
The event saw residents, traditional rulers, community leaders, and youth representatives praise the Chairman for his exemplary leadership and commitment to development. They pledged their unwavering support for his administration and the successful completion of the project.
In addition, Hon. Odunmbaku announced that Oduroye Street and Modinotu Obaremi Street would also be included in the construction plan. This aligns with the HEYS AGENDA, promising to improve traffic flow, reduce congestion, and enhance road safety in Ojodu LCDA.
