ALGOVC National Chairman, Aarebirin Hon Princess (Dr) Folashade Olabanji-Oba Mourns Onigbongbo LCDA Chairman, Hon.Dotun Olakanle

The National Chairman, Association of Local Government Vice Chairmen of Nigeria, ALGOVC, and Executive Vice Chairman of Ikorodu LGA, Lagos State, Aarebirin Hon Princess (Dr) Folashade Olabanji-Oba, has expressed shock and sadness over the passing of the Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo LCDA, Hon. Dotun Olakanle, also known as TANTOLORUN.
Reacting to the sad news, Dr Folashade Olabanji-Oba said, “We extend our heartfelt condolences on the sudden demise of Hon. Oladotun Olakanle, Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA). His dedication to public service and community development will be deeply missed. This indeed is a great loss not only for Ikeja Constituency but for Lagos State as a whole”.
“Prior to his tenure as Chairman, Hon Oladotun Olakanle gained valuable experience working in various public private sector roles, which equipped him with a unique perspective on community development and governance. He was also a former member of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the Lagos State Association of Vice Chairmen (LASAVIC).”
“During this difficult period, we reflect on his achievements and the positive impact he had on the lives of those he served. His leadership and vision for Onigbongbo LCDA will be remembered and honored.”
