Hon. Kafilat Ogbara Facilitates Free Medical Outreach For Constituents

In an inspiring act of public service, Hon. Kafilat Ogbara, Member of the House of Representatives (MHR), has partnered with the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria, to provide a free medical outreach for residents in the community.

 

The initiative, aimed at improving access to quality healthcare, offered comprehensive medical checkups at no cost, including eye examinations, chest scans, tuberculosis screening, and general health assessments.

Residents welcomed the outreach with immense gratitude, praising Hon. Ogbara for her continued commitment to their wellbeing and for effectively representing the needs of her constituency. Beneficiaries were visibly uplifted by the chance to undergo vital health screenings, which are often financially out of reach for many.

“This initiative is a blessing to us,” shared one community member, a father of three. “I never thought I’d have access to a chest scan or eye check without worrying about the cost. I’m truly grateful to Honorable Ogbara for remembering us.”

 

Another beneficiary, an elderly woman who had her eyes checked for the first time, expressed deep appreciation for Hon. Ogbara’s ongoing dedication to the health and wellness of her constituents. “She has shown that she truly cares about the people she represents. May she be rewarded for all her efforts,” she said.

 

Hon. Ogbara, expressed her joy at the positive response and encouraged residents to take full advantage of the program, stressing the importance of good health. “Your health is your wealth, and it’s essential that you take care of it. I am committed to bringing initiatives like this to support and uplift our community,” she remarked.

She also emphasized that these kinds of collaborations with reputable institutions, such as the Institute of Human Virology, bring world-class healthcare closer to the people, empowering individuals to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.
