Controversial former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has denied the allegations of crack in his fourth marriage and that he abused his ex-beauty queen and actress wife, Precious Chikwendu.

Fani-Kayode has described the reports that his marriage has hit the rocks as fake news.

Online news medium, Saharareporters has alleged that Fani-Kayode is planning to separate from his wife over allegations of infidelity.

He was also accused of abusing Precious, his wife of two years.

“We wish to put it on record that there is absolutely no an iota of truth in any part of that story and it is nothing but fake news,” Fani-Kayode stated through his media aide, Jude Ndukwe on Friday.

“As a matter of fact, it is a total fabrication put together by a desperate and vicious media house that seeks to destroy the lives of every member of the Fani-Kayode family.

“They have a history of creating fanciful and destructive stories about Chief Fani-Kayode’s private life and this is nothing new. They have been doing it for the last 12 years and their hatred for Chief Fani-Kayode knows no end.

“To write absurd and irresponsible stories in an attempt to portray Chief Fani-Kayode as an irresponsible and vicious wife-beater, to portray his wife as someone who has questionable morals and to go as far as to suggest thst the paternity of their children was ever questioned is utterly shameless.

“We would like to remind those behind the publication that they have wives, children and husbands too and it is simply ungodly to try to destroy someone else’s family and reputation with such lies.

“The Fani-Kayode’s have instructed their lawyers to take up the matter and we urge the Nigerian public to ignore their baseless and desperate fabrications and treat them with the contempt that they deserve.”

The online publication had alleged that the marriage between Fani-Kayode and Precious has collapsed and threatening to explode in dramatic fashion.

According to the report, to cover up the atrocious abuse of his current wife, Fani-Kayode, who had had a hat-trick of marriages before meeting Precious, with whom he has a son, has implicitly accused the federal government of planning to assassinate his wife.

Unknown to many, the website stated, Fani-Kayode had accused his wife, said to be pregnant with a set of triplets, of infidelity.

However, the controversial politician is said to be denying responsibility, claiming that he was “reliably informed that the children Precious is carrying are not mine but belonging to a United States-based disc jockey.”

The former minister was said to have told friends that he no longer wants to have anything to do with the wife, advising them not to render financial assistance to her.

“I urge you to please cut off from her and not to help her in any way. She has told the world that you intend to help her with money and I urge you to be very wary of doing so. No friend of hers can remain mine. I urge you to be very careful of this mad, ungrateful, deceitful and treacherous woman,” he allegedly warned friends.

According to SaharaReporters, Fani-Kayode allegedly started a physical abuse of Precious from the first year of their marriage, a fate said to have befell her three predecessors.

The violence, the website was told, increased as the years went by.

He was said to have ordered her to abort the pregnancy that resulted in their son but Precious ignored him and got savage beating, including on her belly, for the recalcitrance.

It has grown worse with the allegation of infidelity.

A source said when Fani-Kayode came up with the allegation of infidelity, he allegedly hit the woman very violently in presence of their househelp, who he threatened with a gun by sticking the weapon in her mouth to warn her against squealing.

He also instructed his bodyguard to hit Precious, who has since left their home and now sleeps at her boutique at Abacha Estate, Wuse Zone 4, Abuja.

She is also said to have been relieved of the Mercedes Benz G-Wagon bought for her by Fani-Kayode.

Precious, according to a source, is back to driving 2009 Honda car and has had her police escort withdrawn by the husband.

But all the horrors Precious has been subjected to are masked by the husband’s extravagant show of confected affection on Facebook.

On his Facebook page on Wednesday, Fani-Kayode posted a picture of himself and Precious accompanied with a post claiming that Apostle Suleiman exposed a plot to assassinate “my beautiful wife, Precious Chikwendu, in 2018.”

The post, fizzing with the doctrinal lingo, described Precious as “the daughter of Zion”, “hidden in Christ” and ” covered by the blood of Jesus”.

This conveys the impression that things are smooth with them, a tactic he allegedly used in the case of Regina, his immediate former wife and mother of the last of his five daughters, Remi.

Regina, a Ghanaian, sources said was a victim of serious abuse and had to put up with Fani-Kayode’s relentless philandering.

But even on her last birthday, he was effusive on Facebook.

His first wife, Saratu Attah, whom he married when he was 22, was also regularly pummeled.

Sources said the woman, daughter of the late Adamu Attah, was viciously beaten for requesting a swimming pool in their home on Marine Road in Apapa, Lagos.

When his father, the late Chief Remi Fani-Kayode died, the beating intensified. Divorce later followed.     The next marriage was to Yemisi Odesanya, daughter of a judge.

She is now known as Yemisi Wada after remarrying.

In newspaper interviews, the woman told stories of Fani-Kayode’s viciousness and lack of care for their daughters, the reason for which he was excluded from the marriage of one of them, Temitope in 2014. Despite the disconnect between him and the children, he never fails to advertise his “love” for them on Facebook on their birthdays.

One response to “Fani-Kayode’s Fourth Marriage On Brink Of Collapse?”

I take it as false and baseless news. Remi has finally found his eternal love in Chikwendu. Any other contrary news is regardless in its entirety.
