ONC Expresses Confidence In Aradel Holdings PLC & Honours Company With Prestigious Award

Respected Niger Delta socio-cultural group, Orashi National Congress (ONC), has voiced its strong support for the management of Aradel Holdings PLC (formerly NDPR) in a vote of confidence.
The ONC, representing the Orashi Region in Rivers State which includes Abua Odual, Ahoada East, Ahoada West, and Onelga LGAs, expressed its satisfaction with the effective operation of OML 54 and the responsible discharge of social corporate responsibility by Aradel Holdings PLC in accordance with the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA).
Following an emergency meeting in Ahoada town, the ONC visited the company in Port Harcourt on Friday to affirm its confidence in their capability to efficiently manage Shell access in Nigeria if given the opportunity.
Moreover, the Congress unanimously resolved to honour Aradel Holdings PLC with an award after a careful selection process as the Best Indigenous Multinational of the Year 2024.
On Friday 20th December, 2024, during the courtesy visit led by the President General of Orashi National Congress, Snr Comrade Amb Emeni Ibe, the group presented distinguished awards to Mr. Adebite Falade, Mrs. Ijeoma Okoli, and Alhaji Buba Umaru Njobbo in recognition of Aradel Holdings immense contributions to the empowerment within the host communities and for most effective discharge of departmental responsibilities in line with the Petroleum Industry Act.
Representatives of the company, Alhaji Buba Umaru Njobbo and Mrs. Ijeoma Okoli, who received the award on behalf of the MD, thanked the ONC for the visit and commendable activities in the region. The group received the promise that Aradel Holdings will support the ONC’s objectives of ensuring peace, security and development of the region.
The Orashi National Congress also extended appreciation to the security agencies for their recent successes in the area.
