As Year 2024 comes to an end today, I woke up with a nostalgic feelings reminiscing on the past one year especially how my year 2024 started. I remember vividly I had spent the new year day In Lagos checking up on my sister, even though my yearly give back a portion was happening same day. I chose to visit my sister and opted to allow my cordinators handle my programme in Ifedore while I spoke with the over 100 elders that had gathered in my house on video call. I gave out live chickens to them and I watched on video call how much joy they radiate just being gifted an old layer chicken worth 6, 500 Naira each as at then. My eyes were wet with tears of gratitude and in my heart, I prayed for more opportunities to be able to touch lives and make impacts.

On the flight back home to Abuja, I wondered what year 2024 will bring forth. With so much uncertainty, I had lost so much in year 2023, lost Opportunities, Lost benefactors, lost contacts, lost networks, lost friends and Social Political associates all from a singular mistake of carelessness, mistrust and anger. I was behind also in my PhD Thesis writings, almost lost faith and hope too, I was at a place of doubts, of fear, of despair. The Only Thing that kept me on was my family and destiny pillars who surrounded me. I was a shadow of myself. I had lost so much and I was wondering how I was going to survive in a world where perception determines survival. I held on and kept hope alive.

Just when I was about giving up finally, a flicker of light showed up and brightened my path, gave me a direction and gave me hope. Even though the first half of year 2024 was spent with so much doubts and fighting for survival, the second and the last half of the year 2024 was with EASE, God’s Favour found me and my family. I was packing my things to reconsider vacation and probably relocation when I was called upon to serve. That singular act of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa appointing me as Special Adviser Women Affairs gave me a sociopolitical millage, clarity, direction and elevation.

Today, I’m grateful and Thankful. I have a plartform that amplifies my intentions and enhances my penchant for service. I have also completed and defended my PhD Thesis writing All Glory To God. Thank you Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, You are my greatest blessing in the year 2024. Your name has rubbed off on me. I’m lucky, I’m blessed,
Today, women raise their hands in prayers for me, Orimisan. Many now associate with me and call me blessed. Aiyedatemi, my Abode is filled with rejoicing and multiple blessings. My family and I are grateful and thankful.

Thank you Your Excellency Sir. May God Almighty Bless You and all that is Yours. May you never wither and May Your Anointing never run dry. Thank you for 2024. May We enjoy greater opportunities and blessings in 2025. Amen!!!
