The Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District and Chairman, Senate Committee on Appropriations, Senator Solomon Adeola Yayi, has expressed great shock and sadness at the demise of Chief (Mrs.) Khadijah Adebisi Edionseri at the age of 89 years.

In a condolence message to the family of the late philanthropist and industrialist popularly known as “ Cash Madam” in social circles, Senator Adeola said the passage of Chief Edionseri is a great loss not only to his immediate family but also women folk, Ogun State and indeed, Nigeria.

“I am greatly saddened by the passage of this great woman from Ogun State, who contributed greatly to the nation’s socioeconomic development and was a selfless philanthropist. About a week ago, I met the great woman at a social function in Abeokuta where we sat at the high table. It is a great regret that we lost her at this time. But we thank God for the good life she lived” the Senator stated.
