Hardcore News Set To Celebrate 1st Anniversary

Nigeria’s foremost online news platform, known as Hardcore News, is set to roll out the drums to mark its 1st anniversary with an epoch-making ceremony in Awka, Anambra State. 

 

Dr. Chuma-Odili Harris, the publisher of the nation’s leading online newspaper titled HARDCORE NEWS, said the online newspaper clocked 1 on January 19, 2025.

However, its board of directors have moved the 1st-anniversary celebration to Friday, 24th January, 2025, to make for a grand weekend show.

 

The 1st anniversary will be marked with the debut of online TV programme titled “Security Watch”. The Hardcore Security Watch Tv programme will afford its audience opportunities to view the best, and uncut crime news reports in the Anambra’s history.

The high point of the anniversary is a distinguished public lecture to be held at the Media Hangout on Friday, January 24 at the Hill Rise International Hotels, Udoka Estate, Obunagu Road, Awka. The lecture is expected to play host to dozens of Journalists, Civil Society Organizations and law enforcement agencies.

 

Dr. Chuma-Odili Harris said, “For over a year, HARDCORE NEWS has made tremendous impact in Anambra and Nigeria at large. The celebration of our 1st anniversary is not just an opportunity to wine and dine but a chance to celebrate our excellent heritage and fierce editorial independence”.

 

A special commemorative anniversary publication to mark the 1st anniversary of the Hardcore Newspaper will also be distributed at the event.
