P.M.EXPRESS reports that the Mayor of Orumba South LGA of Anambra State, Hon Shedrack Azubuike, has given non-indigenous native doctors and Ezenwanyis operating in the council area seven days notice to vacate the area.

The quit notice was contained in a press statement signed by the Chairman of the LGA made available to journalists to that effect with demand for complete compliance.

Hon Azubuike explained that the quit notice is sequel to the establishment of Anambra State Homeland security law by the state government.

“All native doctors and Ezenwanyis, who are not indigenes of Orumba South LGA, should by this notice vacate the LGA within the next seven days from the date of this notice,” he said.

However,  the Mayor of Orumba South LGA said that the affected native doctors and Ezenwanyis have options of vacating the council area or desist from practicing such evil anywhere around the LGA.

“All native doctors and Ezenwanyis who are indigenous are hereby strictly advised in their best interest to present themselves for profiling and documentation starting from Wednesday 19th February, 2025 at the LGA Secretariat,” Hon Azubuike said.

He pointed out that the identification and documentation of indigenous practitioners will only last for seven days.
