This year’s theme, “Accelerate Action,” underscores the urgent need to break barriers, promote inclusivity and advance gender equality”.

“At Ojodu LCDA, we recognize that empowering women is key to social and economic growth. That is why our administration has been deliberate in implementing programmes that enhance our women’s self-reliance and overall well-being. Through various skills acquisition programmes and the provision of toolkits, we have equipped women with resources to build sustainable businesses. Widows have also received empowerment support to improve their livelihoods.”
