Posted on April 12, 2025
The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, has officially handed over keys to traders at the newly rebuilt Yakoyo Market.
The reconstruction and allocation of the market were facilitated by Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, who transformed the market into a modern edifice equipped with ultra-modern facilities.
Remarkably, Hon. Faleke first built the market 25 years ago as part of his commitment to community development. In a renewed gesture of service, he has now rebuilt the market as part of his numerous constituency projects and ensured that original occupants retained their shops.
The handover ceremony was attended by key stakeholders including the Iyaloja of Ojodu LCDA, Mrs. Folashade Salako, who led the Market Association Leaders.
Also present were the Vice Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Bunmi Oluyadi, the SLG, Hon. Olaide John Bello and Council Manager Engr Bunmi Akintoye.
