Rivers Women Unite For SIM Pays Courtesy Visit To Deputy Governor

In a heartfelt display of unity, gratitude, and faith, members of Rivers Women Unite for SIM conducted a courtesy visit to Her Excellency, Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu, the Deputy Governor of Rivers State, at her official residence in Port Harcourt.
 The visit was marked by moments of prayer, worship, and thanksgiving, as the group expressed their appreciation for the Deputy Governor’s leadership and commitment to the people of Rivers State.
The visit comes amidst a challenging political climate in Rivers State, characterized by a state of emergency declared by President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. This declaration led to the appointment of Vice Admiral (Rtd) Ibok Ete Ekwe Ibas as the Administrator of the state.
Despite these turbulent circumstances, the women of Rivers State, known for their peaceful and loving nature, demonstrated their resilience and dedication to fostering harmony and progress.
During the visit, the group commended Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu for her steadfast support and contributions to the development of the state, particularly in promoting women’s empowerment and community welfare.
