The thrill of listening to Soludo not only speak to his quality of intellection, but more about his grasp of local realities. Every speech is loaded with nuggets, just as his lectures are potent tools for dispelling long held ignorance. To many, especially the seekers of truth — and not lovers of mere political rhetoric coated in self adulation — Soludo is extraordinary czar who says it as it is.

An incurable optimist, he often calls himself, Soludo is one you wouldn’t catch complaining. Like President Tinubu puts it, “he is a thinker”. Thinking for him is not enough. Effort is also not so much. It is the impact that comes with doing one’s thoughts that makes all the difference in Nation building and humanity in general. When road is good, people travel it so often that they lose count. For the third time in almost quick succession, Organizers of the now most prominent National dialogue gathering — “The Platform” — have featured a Soludo for reasons not unconnected to his seminal depositions that shape the trajectory of our Nation.

Thursday, June 12, 2025 is another day when a Nation is eagerly waiting to hear a man with practical solutions to long standing issues. I hear he will be speaking on “rebuilding our Nation”. As a serial jinx breaker, this is his forte, a familiar turf where he would speak with the mastery that only a Soludo can muster. I am in a haste to hear Soludo. This is made worse by the frenzy his appearance is already generating.
